A new format and structure of Global Social Witnessing_Conference.Lab 2021

Because of the ever changing COVID19-regulation in Germany it is not possible to know how many people will be allowed to participate in our conference in Witten/Herdecke University in March 2021. After a long and heated discussion in the GSW team, we decided to go for the following format and structure. The new format of GSW_Conference.Lab has two units:

Unit 1: “GSW as Sacred Activism”

15 pre-recorded dialogues with our scientists and activists will be uploaded and available every day from February 15th to March 4th in 2021. Each dialogue is about 45 minutes and will be supported by relevant academic papers for further reading and a reflection task.

Unit 2: “Art as GSW”

This Unit will take place as in-person workshops facilitated by our 11 artists at Witten/Herdecke University on March 15th – 17th in 2021. In addition, it will be live-streamed. After the in-person workshops, the video recording of these workshops will be uploaded on the Ubiquity University platform.

Once near January, we will inform you how many participants will be permitted to attend physically at Witten/Herdecke University.

The new GSW team is working now with full energy and will give you final information in November. You can see now some changes already in www.globalsocialwitnessing.org
