Appreciative Integral Leadership workshop for IfGIC in Greece
Appreciative Inquiry and Integral Approach are both powerful methodologies that lead to systemic generative change. Their applications include strategic planning, vision-values-culture articulation and cascade, leadership and team excellence, coaching, employee engagement, and alliance integration. This blog post will discuss the participant experience of attending an Appreciative Integral Leadership course and how it can lead to positive change for our Institute for Global Integral Competence, which is involved in holistic adult education.
Here are some comments from our staff who attend this workshop:
“I learned the appreciative Inquiry method, which has helped me face conflicts more productively, I learned about the integral theory, as mentioned above. Further, because the exchange took place in Greece, my intercultural competence was strengthened. I believe that I now possess a more tolerant and accepting mindset toward other cultures. Because of some of the exercises I also greatly improved my emotional regulation and I see myself now as more competent to deal with various issues.”
Workshop participants
In conclusion, attending an A.I. workshop was a transformative experience for participants in organizations and communities. As a result of the participation in this Erasmus mobility, our organization experienced significant positive change impulse. We are able to develop a strategic plan that was aligned with our vision and values, and we started to implement a number of initiatives to support our team members and enhance our workplace culture. Our employees are more engaged and motivated, and we see already a significant improvement in our overall performance.
